hi im lisa and i care for ma dad who has Multiple Sclerosis (MS), ma mum is at work most of the time n i dnt go out anymore..ma dad is nt gettin better (as u cnt) and soon well nt be able 2 walk :( i just wanted 2 no if there was any1 else out there who is like me?

my mum has ms and my dad helps look after her but i need to help with my little sister and if my dad goes out i need to help with my mum and my sister.

I care for my Dad who has MS too. We're pretty similar.

My Dad has had it for a long long time now and he is now wheelchair bound. He is currently going through the process of losing the use of his hand and his swallowing.

I completely understand what your going through. I've been there and it's not nice at all. I'm not going to lie, it's not easy seeing someone you care for go through it but stay strong and remember you need someone there for you too. Talk to someone if you need to. It's a scary prospect I know. Stick close to your Mum if you can, I'm really close to my Mum and I guess you could say we keep each other going.

But don't forget there are people that can help. Chin up

my nan died 2 years ago, she has MS and was in a terrible state. my mum has just been diagnosed with it. its just us two at home so i have got to look after her, has anyone got any advice? xxx

Yes I care for my mum who has MS I have to do all the houswork and help her with other things aswell. I know how hard it is and how depressed it makes you. It certainly makes me down. She is going to get worse not better, the doctors have confirmed this.
