My Girlfriend and I tyook in her Brother a year ago because her Dad left wehen my Girlfriend's brother was 2 and her Mum couldn't cope anymore, he is 18 buut has the mental age of a baby, he wears nappies and cant feed himself so we have to do it, he Grunts alot but also cries alot, he sleeps in the same room as us in a bed with Cot sides and very often wakes in thje night havingh soiled and saturated his nappy, I work all dfay 5 days a week so my girlfriend is home with him all day but never complains, she loves him to bits but hates the stares he gets when going out and the stupid questions from Kids, so she tries not to take him out unless she has to, also it is hard to change his nappy when we go out and he gets messy easily and she overhears people criticising the way she looks after him, she doesn't have many friends anymore as if she takes him to their house he soon cries or poos his nappy, She has one Mate and when she has to she changes her brother on the carpet but is always afraid of soiling it, She says she wouldn't have him go to a home though.
