Hi! I'm Maddi, and I go through the same kind of thing at my school. I think there's one other young carer here, and no-one really seems to undersand except for my closest friends. Everyone else is under the impression that my Dad's a loony and we're such a lucky family because we get everything easy and we're on benefits because my Mum is my Dad's registered carer.
Thankfully I've found myself some understanding friends at school - but even if you can't, you're never alone when you're on here. There's a thread in creative corner - Put ay poems here - and it's got some poems on it. The ones called "Never Alone" and "Us" are mine, and it's about how you're never truly alone if you're a young carer, even though you may feel that way.
Your school should be understanding of your problems at home, and if they aren't then it's worth talking to someone who can make a big difference to what's going on - a teacher you trust or a parent.
Don't worry, you've always got space to vent and talk to other people here.
=) Maddi
